Welcome to the beating heart of Gibsons Cabinet Makers – where oak dust hangs in the air like fine perfume, and every chisel sings in perfect pitch.
Tucked away in North Yorkshire, our workshop is not a showroom .This is where raw timber becomes fine cabinetry, with a touch of sawdust, skill, and sarcasm.
From intricately turned pillars to gracefully curved cornices, each piece is crafted by hand – no shortcuts, no flatpacks, no robots (yet). Whether it’s drawers lined up like soldiers or arches so precise they’d make a Roman jealous, our factory is where classical elegance meets honest graft.
Our lads don’t just measure twice – they measure, argue about it, then measure again. The result? Kitchens and furniture that look like they’ve always belonged.
So while others may whisper “bespoke,” we shout it proudly – over the hum of the planer.

Using solid timbers, real oak, hand-selected veneers, and traditional techniques like in-frame joinery and dovetailing, we bring precision and integrity to every joint, panel, and curve.
Our materials are chosen with the same level of care. Whether it’s native oak from British sawmills or responsibly sourced hardwoods, we work only with suppliers who share our uncompromising standards. And where possible, we support other small UK workshops, keeping craft and community at the heart of what we do.
